Avalon administration visits clinical site in Arizona
Avalon University School of Medicine has one of the best clinical science programs among Caribbean medical schools. AUSOM Students have the opportunity to compete clinical rotations in the following states; Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, West Virginia, Georgia, Nevada, or Arizona. Completing the entire 72 weeks of rotations at one geographic location is one benefit to Avalon University’s Clinical Science Program. In addition, students have the opportunity to schedule the clinical rotations back to back with no wait time in-between.
AUSOM Administrators frequently visit the various clinical sites to ensure our medical students are receiving the best possible education available. Most recently, the AUSOM Administration including Chancellor, President, Executive Dean and Clinical Dean visited the Phoenix, AZ clinical site. During this site visit, Administration met separately with physician preceptors, Hospital Administrators and AUSOM Clinical Students. It was quite an informative experience for everyone involved.
